ST. STEPHEN'S CHURCH
Maidstone Road, Chatham
The Garden Safari and Plant Sale ( not forgetting the teas) planned for Saturday 6th June has, like so many events, been canceled. This is particularly sad as all of the gardens are looking wonderful -the weather has been kind and the owners have had extra time for weeding!
Hopefully, the photographs will give a taste of what would have been on show, and that we will all be able to visit the gardens in person in 2021.

WHAT IS OUR DEEPEST INTENTION?
Nurturing a Christian spirituality that is alive!
Our mission at St. Stephen's Chatham is to be compassionate, inclusive and to make the Christian Faith relevant to our lives. We ask the hardest of questions about what it means to believe, yet try and live out the answers in the simplest of ways.

OUR WORSHIP SERVICES AND EVENTS
St. Stephen's Church is in the liberal Catholic tradition and seeks to be progressive in the way we think and worship. Our music draws from both tradition and renewal in a rare blend of yesterday and today. We are open to God, the world and each other!
At St. Stephen's we embody contemporary thinking within the deep traditions of sacrament and ritual.
CREATIVE IN CREATION
Creative in Creation is a new initiative in St. Stephen’s Church that was launched with an Open-Air Eucharist in September 2019.
Creative in Creation seeks to develop a deeper Christian based understanding of our place within the entire web of life; to strengthen our spirituality as intimately connected to the natural world, and to participate in God’s work in the natural world. A creation centred spirituality adds the natural world and its evolution to the ancient texts of the Christian tradition as a means of knowledge, a source of revelation and inspiration, and as a teacher to guide us and sustain us.
