Thy Kingdom come

Use your imagination! Imagine that you are in a place you find warm and comforting. It could be outdoors somewhere, or it could be your favourite chair in your home. Just take a few moments visualizing this. Now imagine that someone who cares about you greatly is standing next to you. This could be a person, living or dead, or a spiritual figure like Jesus or one of the saints that you admire. They are talking to you and saying just what you need to hear right now. Allow yourself to soak in the warmth and wisdom of their words. Hear the tone of their voice, see the look on their face, and feel the presence of the loving attention they are giving you. Spend as long as you like sinking into the comfort they bring and allow the wisdom they offer to shape how you will be. Close with the grace.
