Thy Kingdom come

Choose the gospel reading from any Sunday

Read the passage slowly, a few words at a time. Read it

out loud or in a whisper, and repeat words or phrases whenever you feel like it.

Linger wherever you feel drawn or moved by what you have read,

or perhaps confused, even disturbed by what the words are saying

to you – these feelings are often the springboard for growth.

Respond to what has moved you: give thanks, or share your

sadness and confusion. Why has this phrase touched you so?

Finally, allow what has taken place in you to just sink in, to permeate you, allow yourself to bask in holy presence.
