"Unless a grain of wheat..."

"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds (see John 12:24). We might say that “unless the single grain of wheat loses its shell, it remains just a single grain”. The shell must first crack for the expanded growth to happen. This is the divine economy, for anything, for everything to grow its existing shell but break open.
